Empty beverage crates in restaurants, bars, and clubs can become a major attraction for fruit flies, especially during the summer. In many cases, adequate cooling of these areas is not operationally feasible. That’s why we developed the FX1, our first system for active prevention of vinegar flies. 

The FX1 Cover is designed to fit any standard beer crate. The FX1 prevents odors from alcohol, juices, or fermenting substances—attractive to vinegar flies—from escaping into the surrounding air. This is another step toward ecological pest management, allowing us to avoid the use of chemical insecticides.
